As Climate Change continues unabated, sustainability has become increasingly important. Whilst we know why sustainable policies need to be promoted, this event will focus on how businesses can implement more sustainable practices to tackle climate change. We will discuss the importance of green finance and investment in green policies, how emerging leaders can promote sustainability in their workplaces and what sustainable initiatives have proven successful at a local, national and international level.

This Seminar will form the second in a series of events of the British Irish Chamber of Commerce’s ‘#MyAmbition’ Initiative which aims to bring together promising young talent from the British Irish Chamber’s membership to network, hear from guest speakers, discuss the issues most important to them, and gain practical experience and learn key skills from selected experts.

Confirmed Speaker(s):

  • Cllr. Claire Byrne, Councillor for Dublin South East Inner City
  • Breandán Goss, European Accelerator Programme Manager, TCD Tangent
  • Karen Ciesielski, Chief Executive Officer, the Irish Environmental Network

This is a free event and refreshments and food will be provided on the night.
