Mar 01, 2019

CASS Ireland

CASSI recently held their AGM in Galway. We would like to congratulate our new chair, Nuala McAdams from Ulster, and the rest of the new team. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the outgoing committee for their contribution to the society and wish them all the best in the future.

The new committee have started preparing for the year ahead. Make sure to keep an eye on our social media and email for updates.

CASS Dublin

On 1 March, CASSD will be watching the first Leinster game in the RDS with pre-match drinks and food in The Horse. We will then all head into town where we have an area booked in Everleigh Gardens.

Our biggest event of the year, the CASSD Ball, will be held on 9 March in Ballsbridge Hotel. We have sold the majority of our tickets now, so buy yours soon if you haven’t.

Finally, and most importantly, we have chosen our charity for the year. We have picked Empower the Family. This charity was founded in 2018 by Deborah Somorin who just qualified as Chartered Accountant. The charity’s main purpose is to support young, disadvantaged single parents in Ireland who have the determination and ability to successfully complete university.

CASS Ulster

CASSU hosted their annual ball on Saturday 23 February at the Culloden Estate and Spa with a Greatest Showman theme. The tickets to the ball were in high demand this year! The chosen charity was Dementia NI.

CASS Galway

  • Chair: Shauna McGuire
  • Vice Chair: Hilary Connaughton
