Under European Union rules, the consolidated financial statements of listed companies must be prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards across the EU. Additionally any other company can optionally report under IFRS Standards in Ireland and the UK. This course aims to equip accountants, auditors and users of financial statements with an understanding of the main aspects of financial reporting under IFRS Standards.
