Format

This course will be delivered via Zoom on Friday 21 April 2023 from 10 to 11.45am. The Zoom link will be emailed to participants the day before the course is due to take place.

Who Should Attend?

This course is suitable for accountants, and other business professionals, from small and mid-sized practices from across both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Course Overview

Topics to be covered by our panel of leading accountants and tax experts during this webinar will include:

  • From Audit to Anti-Money Laundering, and much more, our Professional Standards team are going to update us on the must know regulatory matters for those in practice so far in 2023.
  • From the recent SVB Banking collapse in the US, to persistently high inflation figures, it is no surprise that investment markets have grown in volatility during the opening months of 2023. Learn from investment expert Damian Cooper of Acuvest what are the prospects for the global economy and markets over the coming months, as well as what you should be doing on the investment front at this time.
  • Good Governance is vital for the success of any organisation. Ensuring this can be a particular challenge for Charities and Not for Profits, learn how to better assist your Charity clients to define and implement their governance needs.
  • Recent Tax updates from both jurisdictions on this island.

Key Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be able to appreciate the key issues impacting both your practice and your clients at this time.
