Gearóid O'Sullivan, ACA, Tax Manager, Chartered Accountants
Ireland - Gearóid O'Sullivan is Tax Manager at Chartered
Accountants Ireland. He sits on Main TALC, the TALC Direct and Capital Taxes
Sub-committee, and the TALC Indirect Taxes Sub-committee. His responsibilities
include delivering the Institute's position on various aspects of tax policy.
Maura Ginty, FCA,
Owner, Gintax - Maura set up
her own tax advisory practice Gintax in February 2020. Maura works with clients
nationwide and also other accountants, solicitors for specialist queries. She is
a Chartered Accountant and Member of Irish Tax Institute and prior to setup had
spent 16 years in KPMG.
Emily Bourke, Tax Director, PwC Ireland - Emily is a
senior member of PwC’s Workforce Tax team, with extensive experience advising
clients on employment tax matters. She works closely with her clients on
employment tax consulting projects, including Revenue audits and disclosures,
due diligence, self reviews, and employer share schemes. Emily leads PwC's
engagement with clients on Enhanced Reporting Requirements (ERR), working to
inform and support clients in their preparation for ERR.
Catriona Coady, Head of Tax, Goodbody - Catriona is
Head of Tax within Wealth Management in Goodbody and is responsible for
assisting clients in developing and implementing their strategic financial
planning, tax and investment goals. She is adept in advising on investment and
tax solutions covering succession and retirement planning. Prior to working for
Goodbody, she spent over 20 years working with big 4 firms providing tax advice
to international and domestic clients. Catriona is a CTA, TEP, CFP and a STEP
Ireland Committee member. She is a regular contributor to media on tax and
financial planning related matters.
Sarah Meredith, Partner, International Tax, Grant Thornton

Sarah joined Grant Thornton in 2010 having worked in another
professional services firm for over four years.Sarah has extensive international
tax experience and is involved in a significant number of group restructuring
and acquisition projects for large clients. Sarah advises on a wide range
of issues to include transfer pricing, interest limitation rules and both inward
and outward bound investment from Ireland.Sarah is involved in co-ordinating
global tax compliance and providing tax consulting services for large
multinational groups. She advises numerous clients on due diligence projects
regarding the sale of a business or acquisition of another company.
Additionally, Sarah works with a diverse range of financial services clients,
with a focus on property related structures, and provides both tax compliance
and advisory services to these clients.She also has significant experience in
providing tax advice to family owned businesses, with some well-known large
groups within her portfolio. She manages the tax compliance process for such
groups, along with providing tax consulting services based on issues or
opportunities identified by virtue of fostering a close relationship with these
clients.
Anthony O’Halloran, Partner,Tax & Legal, Deloitte -
Anthony is a partner in Deloitte’s Tax & Legal department and
part of the Corporate & International tax team. Anthony specialises
primarily in international tax for multinational companies investing into
Ireland. Anthony previously led the Irish Tax Desk in New York with Deloitte
LLP. Anthony works primarily with inbound multinational clients form the US, UK
and Europe. Anthony has extensive experience in leading multi-jurisdictional
projects in the areas of IP structuring, due diligence, group re-organisations,
business model optimisation and financing projects with a particular focus on
companies in the technology and life sciences industries. Anthony is a Chartered
Accountant (ACA) and a Chartered Tax Consultant (CTA).
