Form 12 notices – PAYE workers

Revenue have told us that approximately 33,000 notices will be issued to PAYE only taxpayers over the next two weeks, requiring them to file a Form12 for the year ended 31 December 2018 by the 31 October 2019 (or 12 November if using ROS).  The Form 12 tax return is for people whose sole or main income is PAYE employment or pension income and is generally used to claim tax credits, allowances and reliefs.

All taxpayers who are registered for myAccount are requested to submit their return via myAccount.   Where a taxpayer is not registered for myAccount, a hard copy Form12 will be issued.
