This webinar will look at P11D (b)s, the common mistakes, what you can do to help HMRC process them and to help avoid receiving a penalty.

This webinar will provide a reminder of the general rules that apply when reclaiming VAT on the purchase of cars and when hiring and leasing vehicles. It will briefly cover commercial vehicles, other motoring expenses and record keeping.

New deemed domicile provisions and the tax impact

A high level overview of the deemed domicile provisions and the impact of the reforms for income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax.  The session will also provide an overview of cleansing of mixed funds and capital gains tax rebasing. Trust protections will not be covered.

Basis periods - looking at commencement years, changes to accounting date and overlapping periods

This webinar will focus on basis periods, the different rules that apply to commencement years, the effect on a basis period when there is a change of accounting date and overlapping periods. It will also look at some pointers when dealing with a change from sole trader to partnership and vice versa.
