The Author

David W. Duffy, FCA, is the founding director of Prospectus Management Consultants and CEO of The Governance Company, a leading online provider of governance education for directors of boards. A graduate of Trinity College, Dublin with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree, David also holds a MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. He has extensive experience in advising on many aspects of corporate governance in the public, private and non-profit sectors. He is a board member of The Ireland Funds, a global Irish philanthropic organisation, a council member of Dublin Chamber of Commerce and a former President of both the Institute of Management Consultants and Advisors and the Trinity Business Alumni. He has also been chair or a non-executive director of a number of commercial, trade, voluntary and sporting organisations.
