  The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland regulates its members in accordance with the provisions of its Bye Laws openly and in the public interest. Oversight of this role is performed independently by the Chartered Accountants Regulatory Board.  The Institute hereby places notice that:

  Withdrawal of a member’s practising certificate

  The Quality Assurance Committee made an order to withdraw the practising certificate of Mr Adrian Kennedy of the firms Melinn & Associates and Adrian Kennedy Limited of 6 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2 for failing to provide evidence of professional indemnity insurance in respect of those firms. This order took effect on 27 April 2018.

  The Institute hereby places notice that:

  The Quality Assurance Committee made an order to withdraw a member's practising certificate for failing to comply with the Public Practice Regulations. This order took effect on 30 January 2018.  On this occasion, the Committee exercised its discretion not to include the name of the member in the publication.

  The Institute hereby places notice that:
  The Quality Assurance Committee made an order to withdraw the audit registration of the firm Phil Murphy and Company, 6 Ballymodan Place, Bandon, Co Cork for failing to comply with the Audit Regulations. This order took effect on 3 January 2018.
