Our client multi-disciplinary firm of Consulting specialists with offices in Dublin and Munster. It is part of a global group employing more than 15,000 accross the world. Growing steadily in Ireland.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced ACA Financial Accountant to build a career in our long established, fast growing, multi-national organisation
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, with a dotted line to the Regional Head of Finance in Group HQ, this Financial Accountant position is responsible for the finance function of the company, and is a central role with key areas of responsibility including:

• Preparation of quarterly consolidated accounts using SAP Business Objects software
• Year end accounts and audits for associated companies and 1 EU branch
• Bi-monthly VAT returns
• Input into preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation and submission of monthly PAYE/PRSI returns
• Supervision of payroll and monthly reconciliation of same
• Responsible for managing the controls and approvals around supplier engagements and approvals of bi-monthly AP supplier payrun and staff expenses
• Maintain internal controls in line with Group policies and best accounting practice
• Corporation Tax Returns for company and Norwegian branch
• Company Secretarial Returns
• Responsibility for treasury management of the company, monitoring the cash position on a monthly / weekly basis as necessary
• Submission of Monthly cashflow reports to Group Treasury
• Central Statistic Office returns
• Supervision of 3 staff
• WIP and Debt monitoring
• Attendance at monthly management meetings
• Responsible for arranging company Insurance policies
• Administration on behalf of the company of DB and DC Pension Schemes

Requirements :-

• Qualified ACA with a minimum of 5 years’ post qualification experience, ideally gained within a Professional Services environment
• Multinational experience would be useful also
• Tax Qualification would be advantageous
• Excellent technical accounting/auditing background
• Strong people management skills
• Proven analytical skills with an ability to work within strict deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Driven, enthusiastic, proactive individual
