Our partnered client is a rapidly growing Multinational in the FMCG sector seeking to add high calibre ACA members to its finance team.

This role is an exceptional opportunity for a Newly Qualified Big 4 / Top 10 ACA to get strong industry experience onto their CV and provides a super platform for the ensuing years post qualification.

Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join the existing Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role within the finance department as we continue to enhance our best in class department. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a high calibre Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join an ambitious and growing MNC in the Mid-West Region.

Key Accountabilities: • Owner of the day to day finance function for a sizable entity within the Group • Lead the month-end financial reporting process and adhere to tight reporting timelines • Lead year end audit process for the entity • Commercially focused accountant with a keen interest in process improvement • Sales, margin and operating expense analysis • Working Capital management, reporting and forecasting • Implementing and monitoring KPIs across each operating cost centre • Involvement in planning and forecasting of operating cost • Balance sheet reconciliation process • Work closely with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team and ensure processes are structured to maximise efficiencies • Manage intercompany receivable/payable balance reconciliation process

Requirements: • Qualified ACA Accountant • Excellent analytical and presentation skills • The candidate should demonstrate a substantial knowledge and understanding of accountancy procedures, with the ability to work accurately and in a detailed manner to meet strict deadlines. • Creative & innovative individual with a strong ability to identify opportunities to improve processes • Foodservice industry experience desirable but not essential • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, decision-making & problem-solving skills. • Must demonstrate track record of strong negotiation and delivery of cost savings

• Strong planning & organisational skills with excellent time management skills & the ability to plan, organise & implement multiple concurrent tasks • Ability to act on own initiative • Must have results driven method of working and a strong desire to complete and succeed at all tasks • Maintain the highest possible professional and ethical standards always.
