Our client is a global employer of choice in the technology sector seeking a Tax Analyst to join the team. Reporting to the Tax Manager in Dublin, this is a diverse and varied role to support the International Tax team across its multinational corporate tax modelling, reporting and compliance obligations in a fast-paced and everchanging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the preparation and review of corporate income tax computations for EMEA and LATAM regions to ensure timely filing by advisors and payment of advance taxes
• Assist with any supplementary tax filings for country by country reporting, notifications and related party forms
• Manage setting up tax vendors, tax accruals and review of engagement letters for outsourced services working with finance and procurement from time to time
• Prepare return to provision entries for filed corporate tax returns & manage ETR
• Assist with tax analysis and research for dividend repatriation and withholding tax on payments and manage submission of WHT forms as required
• Assist with preparation of technical memos or research projects on tax technical issues to support various international transactions
• Seek out opportunities to automate compliance and reporting processes
• Monitor legislative developments with respect to local and international tax law changes & assist with tax data analysis and projects as needed
• Work cross functionally with credit, finance & treasury teams to share tax rates, forms, estimated tax cashflows or ad hoc projects as required
The person :
• Strong technically in taxation as it relates to international aspects as well as the ability to deal with financial and tax issues facing a large multinational group
• Qualified with 1-2 years PQE in Tax and/or Accounting (AITI/ACA)
• Proficient in Excel & MS office at minimum; experience in systems such as SAP, Tableau or OneSource is advantageous
• Ability to work cross functionally with other teams in a dynamic & high-performance environment and strong attention to detail and problem solving
• Self-motivated and positive attitude to work on their own initiative & contribute to team priorities to meet tight deadlines and US close timeframes when necessary
