Our client is a small well established firm of accountants in Co. Wicklow with an opportunity for a fully qualified ACA to join the firm either on a full-time basis or job share.
Responsibilities will include:
• Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and companies.
• Taxation compliance work to include preparation and submission of all relevant returns under Income Tax, Corporation tax, RCT, VAT and payroll taxes.
• Tax advice and planning
• Reviewing work prepared by junior staff members
• General practice ad hoc work
• Liaising directly with clients
Required knowledge and experience:
• Fully qualified accountant with at least 2-3 years practice experience
• Familiarity with Surf Accounts products such as Surf Accounts Production, Surf Accounts, Accountancy Manager and Brightpay an advantage but not essential
• Efficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential
• Strong communication/client management skills necessary
• Capable of working to targets and deadlines
• Willing to work as a team and also on their own initiative"
