An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Accountant to join their team on a contract basis.

Established in 2015 within the Irish market, our client offers the chance to play a key role in the success of their accounting function.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of accounting activities to meet the needs of the company.
In this important and diverse role, you’ll prepare reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements, as well as undertaking financial administration and internal audits for the company and its customers.
A lot of emphasis is involved in maintaining float and bank accounts and agreeing intercompany accounts.
Xero accounts package.
Additionally, you’ll work alongside the Management Team to control income and expenditure, as well as creating effective business strategies to generate shareholder value.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- FCA / ACA qualification
- The ability to explain complex financial information in a clear manner
- Strong computer skills, including MS Excel
-Strong work related references required
As an Accountant, you must have strong analytical skills, a logical approach and great problem solving abilities. Meticulous attention to detail, a team player mentality and good presentation skills are also key.
Experience of working with the Xero accountancy package could be beneficial, but is not essential to your application
Group Financial Accountant
In this role, you will be working as part of a small highly skilled team on a broad range of duties. Ideal for an accounting professional who wants to build on their experience in a progressive environment.
About the Role:
• Deliver bank reconciliations for review
• Review unreconciled transactions and liaise with wider team on same
• Ensure all processes are compliant with policy and any risks identified are communicated to the manager
• Month-end reporting
• Ownership of balance sheet to include head office and central function
• Liaising with key stakeholders to complete accurate reports and assist with cash flow forecasts.
• Assist with the identification and implementation of process reviews
• Complete training for new systems or process when needed
• Monthly consolidated accounts and reporting
• Annual consolidated financial statements & reporting
• Statutory accounts
• Cashflow projections, forecasts & budgets
• Implementation & review of systems, policies & procedures at Group level
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Costs and Variance analysis
• Project work & ad hoc tasks
About the Person:
• 1-2 years’ experience
• ACA qualified
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Innovative and supportive of a culture of continuous improvement
Hybrid Office/Home can be an option circa 2 days pw
Work conditions are good with minimum overtime or unsocial hours
