A very exciting role in a Dublin CC based SME as a commercial accountant reporting to the FC and CEO has arisen with a Real Estate financial services client.
You will have several years post qual experience and the ability to manage the accounting, analytical and monthly, for 2 entities in the group.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Commercial Accountant’s responsibilities will include:
Accounting: Preparation of quarterly entity and consolidated accounts for financial reporting purposes in line with IFRS
Financial management: Ensure books and records are maintained for all aspects of certain entities within the group including ledger, cashflow, service charge, debt, and tax management
Financial analysis & budgeting: Delivery of regular and ad-hoc financial analyses to senior management (e.g., variance vs budgets) / supporting the budgeting process including regular liaison with Operations, evelopment, and Investment teams
Annual accounts & audit: Preparation of annual statutory accounts in line with FRS101 and supporting management of annual audit process and liaising with external and internal auditors
Funding & liability management: Supporting CEO and Financial Controller in meeting funding requirements of the business / preparing quarterly reports for the Company’s lenders
Risk management: Ensuring effective internal controls and assessing tenant covenant strength
Tax: Liaising with corporate tax advisers on a regular basis / input into VAT returns process and ensuring compliance with all taxation regulations
Other: Supporting the Financial Controller in any other corporate matters
ACA :
Commercial / property sector experience advantageous
Demonstrable experience and proficiency in financial reporting, management accounting, ledger management, tax, audit, and financial analysis
Strong numeracy and analytical skills, good commercial acumen, and problem-solving abilities
Self-starter with a track record of achievement
Ability to build strong professional relationships and work well as part of a team
Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) essential
Experience of working in a team environment and ability to deliver to deadlines
Excellent IT skills, particularly MS-Excel, essential
