Position Summary:
You will support growth plans by acting as their internal CFO providing exceptional back-office support to the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, quickly evolving company and to be an instrumental member of the team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
● Day-to-day management of overall finance function of the business
● Support on interactions with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) including for the Designated Person for Financial and Capital Management (e.g. monitoring of regulatory capital), scheduled filings and oversight of financial reporting to the CBI
● Maintenance of books and records of the firm
● Annual and multi-year budgeting process
● Management of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts reporting for senior management and the board and co-ordinate the annual audit
● Bank account management, payments initiation including payroll, and oversight of cash
● Tax compliance, filings and payments
● Company secretarial services
● Review of quarterly valuations of investee companies, and liaising with fund administrator to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reporting to investors
● Liaise with administrator on fund capital calls and related support
● Selection and ongoing review of third-party service providers including the fund administrator
● Other ad hoc financial activities as required
Technical/Functional Requirements:
● ACA/FCA
● 10+ years experience working in senior finance role
● Strong analytical skills
● Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
● Self-starter; ability to work independently in a fast-paced but collegiate environment
● Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
● Mature, reliable and hard-working, strong executive presence
● Motivated and persistent - goes the extra mile
