Finance Business Partner
You will be supporting and challenging business performance, commercial decision–making, the development and implementation of business strategy and maintaining a robust governance and control framework.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the business creating a real and active partnership, becoming a trusted adviser, making a difference in the business.
Key Responsibilities
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:
Commercially challenging and supporting all business opportunities to ensure an appropriate risk and reward approach.
Managing the day-to-day financial performance of the Business areas, including proactive engagement with the Business to ensure targets are met.
Developing corrective action plans with Business Managers to address performance gaps
Supporting Business Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting processes; agree key assumptions with FP&A team and Business Units
Manage, lead, and develop all financial analytics for the business either within the BP team or co-ordinating with the Forecasting Planning & Analysis team to support all business decisions
Manage the end-to-end financial relationship from the business partner, FP&A and A&R to ensure a seamless support to the business.
Present to senior stakeholders in the Business on various projects and financial issues
Liaising with stakeholders including external auditors in relation to statutory financial reporting
Support maintenance of a robust governance control framework within the relevant business lines
Your Experience
The ability to understand and communicate the key drivers of financial performance.
A commercial mind set with effective analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to deal with senior management.
A capacity to work on own initiative, and to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.
Stakeholder management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to leverage relationships to influence solutions.
Demonstrated experience in managing varying workloads, including appropriate prioritisation of short term and long-term deliverables.

ACA qualified
