Background to the Post

As part of the ICAI ‘Training in Business’ training contract,  Trinity College Dublin, will provide a full study programme for graduates to undertake professional chartered accountancy exams while training within the University’s finance function.  The Financial Services Division seeks to provide sound financial advice in all areas of Trinity’s activities along with management information to support the decision making process throughout the University, to apply financial controls to safeguard the Trinity’s assets and to provide a responsive, effective, efficient and user friendly support service for the College community and students.


The appointee will be given exposure to the world of accounting and an opportunity to gather technical proficiency and commercial awareness in the areas of:
