Due to our unique working relationship with Ireland's top employers, we have a freely available list of training vacancies positions. This is a list of firms and companies with open Chartered Accountancy trainee positions.

If you are interested in a position please contact the organisations directly. While most of the positions are in practice with a Training Contract on offer, there are also some companies in Industry hiring trainees via the Flexible Route.


Are all vacancies listed?

Not all registered training firms and businesses will advertise positions on our training vacancy page and please bear in mind that not all registered organisations are listed on our website. So make sure to contact any firm or business directly if you want to find out if they have any open training positions.

Some firms will only recruit during the "Milkrounds" this takes place in colleges and universities around the country where firms and businesses with conduct presentations and exhibitions on campus to advertise Training Contracts and recruit students focusing on the graduate classes of degrees in accounting, finance, and other relevant areas. Free advertising of vacancies

Firms and companies with training vacancies can advertise free of charge on our website. Simply  email us with the text you wish to use for your advertisement.

If you are an existing Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or are interested in having your firm or company authorised to train Chartered Accountants under a Training Contract, we have a lot of information available (see link below), including all the forms you’ll need to download.

 Requirements

Relevant work experience:

  • 1-2 years within accountancy practice or accounts department
  • A history of working to targets, meeting deadlines and reaching agreed KPIs
  • Excellent Written and Oral communication skills, analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Systems savvy and excellent IT skills including all GSuite and Microsoft office applications, in particular MS Excel and Google sheets
