Exemption criteria - Second Year Examination

Candidates qualifying in the second year examination with ATI must achieve an overall grade of no less than "pass" to gain entry to our CA Proficiency 1 (CAP1) programme. Students must achieve the clear pass within a one year timeframe. Once the overall pass has been achieved candidates may be eligible for the following exemptions:

CAP 1 subjects	College/university options required
Finance	Second year examination must be completed within a one year timeframe
Management Accounting	50% in Management Accounting (Year 2)
Financial Accounting	50% in Adv. Financial Accounting (Year 2)
Taxation	50% in Adv. Taxation (Year 2)
Law for Accountants	50% in Law & Ethics (Year 1)
