Technological University Dublin (DIT)

Exemption criteria - BSc (Hons) in Accounting / BSc (Hons) in Accounting (International)

To claim exemptions from any part of CA Proficiency 1 (CAP1), graduates require an overall minimum honours level of 2.ii or better, have a clear pass, without compensation in all relevant subjects of the degree with a mark of not less than 50% in the specified modules

Management Accounting	ACCT3005 Accounting for Management Control and Decision Making (Minimum mark of 50% required) ACCT9210 Management Accounting 1 (Minimum mark of 40% required)
Financial Accounting	ACCT3003 Advanced Financial Reporting (Minimum mark of 50% required) ACCT9207 Financial Reporting (Minimum mark of 40% required) ACCT9206 Accounting (Minimum mark of 40% required)
Taxation	ACCT3002 Taxation (Minimum mark of 50% required)

To claim an exemption from Law, graduates require an overall minimum honours level of 2.ii or better, have a clear pass, without compensation in all relevant subjects of the degree with a mark of not less than 50% in the specified modules. Law for Accountants must be passed before enrolment onto the FAE programme.

To claim exemptions from any part of CA Proficiency 2 (CAP2), candidates must achieve a minimum of a 2.i honours degree and a mark of not less than 50% (without compensation) in each module as set out below.
