To claim exemptions from any part of CA Proficiency 1 (CAP1), candidates must achieve the award of the Higher Diploma in Professional Accounting and a mark of 50% in all relevant modules as set out below.  Exemptions are awarded on a subject-by-subject basis from CA Proficiency 1. The required experience for qualification will be dependent upon the number of exemptions secured.
