Treasurer
The treasurer is responsible for keeping accounts and preparing profit and loss statements
of ventures organised by the group. The treasurer is responsible for all financial operations
of the organisation, they are responsible for paying any bills owed by the committee &
individual sling libraries. The treasurer will present reports of financial activities at meetings
as requested by the committee and prepare an annual financial report for the Annual
General Meeting. The treasurer is a co-signatory of cheques and is to record all transactions
and issue receipts. The treasurer is a key participant in discussions about the group’s
activities which may have implications for the financial status of the group.
The treasurer sits on all sub-committees.
