Our client is a leading city centre based Irish PLC currently hiring for a Group Financial Reporting Manager. This is a permanent role with a competitive package on offer, good team culture and benefits.
You will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller and will be responsible for the group financial reporting. Small H/O in Dublin 2 with main operations abroad.
No people management required but you will be technically strong and have good experience with IFRS.
You will be a good communicator and relationship builder.
The Group Financial Reporting Manager will assist the Group Financial Controller in fulfilling their financial reporting and tax compliance responsibilities by preparing the Group’s annual and interim report and accounts and tax compliance requirements in the relevant tax jurisdictions.
Key duties and responsibilities:
The key duties and responsibilities include:
• Preparation of financial statements for Group & subsidiaries
• Completion of month-end process for subsidiaries
• Manage the relationship with the external auditors and interim reviews
• Preparation of board-level presentations
• Responsible for group tax compliance and financial controls, with support from Group FC
Qualifications/Experience:
Qualified chartered accountant from a large practice environment with significant
external audit/reporting experience
3 to 5 years post qualification experience preferably in public listed entity
Excellent understanding of IFRS reporting requirements
Previous role in industry would be advantageous
Previous tax compliance experience would be advantageous
Proficient using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
*Due to small international travel (1-2 a year for a few days), only candidates who possess an Irish/EU passport will be considered
