Our client is an Irish Property consultancy with Global reach.
Currently seeking an ACA / FCA as Finance Lead / Controller to lead one of their divisoina in the Property Management area dealing with portfolios of clients. eg Blackstone etc.
Team of 5 or 6 to manage
Key competitors woudl include Savilles and Bannons.
Property experience preferred
Manager / Senior Manager direct from practice is good if the right exposure to property.
This is a senior position within the department with responsibility for the practices, processes and client reporting & servicing.
The client profides Investment management, valuation and agency services to national and international institutional investors, private investors, developers, private equity funds, ICAV’s & QIAIF entities.
The property management department holds assets under management of approximately €2Bn and is focused on Office and Retail investments.
Job description
Experienced ACA required to take up a Client Accounting Lead position within the property management team.
The role includes;
• Overseeing and managing the practices and procedures of the Property Management finance team.
• preparing and delivering accurate and complete periodic financial reports and accounts to clients for their properties.
• Monitoring and implementing compliance with best practice finance operations
• Liaising with clients and their financial advisors on financial reports and providing further financial data as may be required from time to time.
• Devising bespoke report templates to satisfy client requirements.
• Liaising with clients’ advisors for financial statements, VAT returns and external controls & practice audits.
• Preparation of VAT reports for client accountants. Periodic VAT returns for managed properties.
• Management of the service charge audit process for managed properties with external partners.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Provide guidance, training and direction to the finance team within the firm.
• Involvement with process improvement within the department and new business generation.
Candidate Requirements:
ACA / FCA
3 years+ post qualification experience
Property financial management experience & knowledge of YARDI software will be a benefit to applicants
