Job Title: Financial Controller / Senior Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business; AR, AP, Cashflow, etc.
• Complete monthly/weekly commercial reporting to management
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports and forecasts
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Bi-Monthly VAT returns
• Process monthly payroll
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and legislation
• Provide financial insight to support strategic business decisions
• Work closely with senior leadership to shape the company’s growth strategy
• Support other ad-hoc tasks that may arise
The Candidate:
• Qualified ACA
• Minimum 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within an SME environment
• Payroll experience is preferable, particularly the use of SAGE
• Previous experience with accounting systems (we use Accounts IQ)
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial record keeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Knowledge of Irish tax, compliance, and financial regulations
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
• Experience in the creative, media, or advertising industries is a plus but not essential
