Francesca McDonagh Group Chief Executive Officer, Bank of Ireland Group Opening Speaker - The evolution of banking – today and beyond
  • Francesca was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer in October 2017. Bank of Ireland is a diversified financial services group established in 1783 and is one of the largest financial services groups in Ireland.
  • Francesca joined Bank of Ireland from the HSBC Group, where she held a number of key senior management roles over a twenty year period including Regional Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, UK and Europe; Regional Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Middle East and North Africa; and Head of Personal Financial Services, Hong Kong.
  • Francesca is a member of the PRA Practitioner Panel. She has previously served on the Board of the British Bankers’ Association (BBA), where she was Deputy Chair and on the Board of the National Centre for Universities and Business in the UK. Francesca has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.

  • Brian is a former heroin addict turned doctor who is on a mission to show people that change is possible.
  • Brian has become a doctor of neuroscience and psychology, a lecturer, an executive coach to some of Ireland's most senior leaders and consultant. Brian is also an author, and founder of Change is Possible.

  • Charlotte is a Chartered Accountant and she also has a Law degree.
