Exam info: CAP2 (CA Proficiency 2)

What to expect on results day 

The CAP2 Summer 2026 results will be available online from 8am on Friday 03 July 2026.

Staff will be available from 8am to 4pm to answer any queries on +353 01 5233926 or by email at CAP2exam@charteredaccountants.ie 

The CAP2 exam results will be published on the Exam Results page in the Student Centre area.
 
Important: 25/26 academic cycle must be selected to view the results. Please allow the webpage to refresh before selecting current exams options.  

Exam result letter 

You can download your results letter on your student portal under Exam Results. The letter will consist of a percentage mark for each paper and a Pass or Fail per paper. Students must ensure that pop up blockers are enabled to see this letter. It is advisable to save the letter at the earliest opportunity at the option to download will be available for two academic cycles only. For any further copies requested an administrative fee of €20/£15 per level will apply.
