What to expect on results day
The CAP1 Summer 2024 results will be available online from 8am on Friday 28 June 2024. Staff will be available from 8am to 4pm to answer any queries on +353 01 5233926.
The results for the CAP1 exams and interim assessments will be published on the Exam Results page in the Student Centre area.
To view the result/s online: Students must login to their Student Portal with the username and password. Select CURRENT STUDENTS - EXAM RESULTS.
Important: 23/24 academic cycle must be selected to view the results, please allow the website to refresh before selecting Current exams option.
Interim assessment results
Financial Accounting (DEBK):
The result obtained from this interim assessment is included in the main published exam result.
Exam result letter
Students can download their result letter on their student portal under “Exam Results”. The letter will consist of a percentage mark for each paper and a Pass or Fail per paper. Students must ensure that pop ups are enabled to see this letter. If you wish to retain a hard copy of the results letter it would be advisable to print the letter at the earliest opportunity as the option to download this letter will be available for a limited amount of time only.
What happens next
If a student obtains a fail result, in any paper, it is the student’s responsibility to enrol themselves onto the relevant resit exam through their student portal. If a student was unable to sit an exam(s) in the summer sitting, they are not automatically enrolled onto the next available sitting, students must enrol themselves through their student portal.
Appeals and Information Scheme
Under the scheme, a student whose result falls into the category of CREDIT or FAIL may apply for any of the options listed on the Appeals and Information Scheme document.
Revision course programme
The revision course is designed for students who will be sitting the CAP1 Autumn 23/24 exams. Once the revision enrolment close, enrolled students will be granted access to the relevant revision courses on the Learning Hub.
The autumn revision course will include:
- 1 pre-recorded revision webinar per subject
- Revision discussion forum per subject
- Additional autumn sitting revision materials which will be available on the Learning Hub (Summer PEC & CASSI reports)
In addition, students will be granted access to 23-24 course content which includes:
- All course content for the chosen course
- All webinar recordings for the chosen course
- View-only access to the discussion forums.
Important closing dates
Information & Appeals Schemes: close of business Friday 5 July 2024
Autumn 2024 resit exam enrolment: close of business 15 July 2024
Revision programme enrolment: close of business 15 July 2024
CAP1 DEBK and Law autumn session: 1 July 2024 until 31 July 2024
