Exam info: CAP1 (CA Proficiency 1)

What to expect on results day 

The CAP1 Summer 2026 exam results will be available online from 8am on Friday 29 May 2026. 

Staff will be available from 8am to 4pm to answer any queries on +353 01 5233926 or by email at CAP1exam@charteredaccountants.ie

The CAP1 exam results will be published on the Exam Results page in the Student Centre area.

To view your results you must login to your Student Portal, username and password is required. 

Important:  25/26 academic cycle must be selected to view the results. Please allow the webpage to refresh before selecting current exams option. 

Exam result letter

You can download your result letter on your student portal under Exam Results. The letter will consist of a percentage mark for each paper and a Pass or Fail per paper. You must ensure that pop up blockers are enabled to see this letter. It is advisable to save the letter at the earliest opportunity as the option to download will be available for two academic cycles only. For any further copies requested an administrative fee of €20/£15 per level will apply.
