Tom will deliver a quick-fire session on the latest developments and updates across the main tax headings in 2025.

Speaker Bios
- Christine Kearney – Autism NI -Autism NI is Northern Ireland’s main Autism Charity. We support
autistic people and their families and campaign for autism acceptance within
society. As Director of Development, Christine Kearney works to improve autism
acceptance, inclusion and accessibility across Northern Ireland. This includes
within the health and education sector, public services and private sector.
Christine manages the development and facilitation of accredited training
courses and the Autism Impact Award Programme, which supports organisations to
demonstrate their accessibility and inclusion.

- Dympna Cassidy - Deloitt, Financial REporting
Advisory Team - Dympna is a director working in the Financial Reporting Advisory team in Deloitte Ireland LLP. She has a BA in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University and is a Chartered Accountant. She has 12 years’ experience in practice including time in audit and accounting advisory and significant experience in respect of International Financial Reporting Standards as adopted by the European Union (“IFRS”), the suite of Irish GAAP frameworks (including FRS 101 and FRS 102) and U.S GAAP. Dympna has been part of the Financial Reporting Advisory team in Deloitte for the past number of years and has worked on clients in a wide variety of industries supporting them with their technical accounting needs.
- Tom Penman – Tax and Training Ltd -Tom specialises in complex tax planning, structuring
groups of companies, international tax, enquiries, providing tax efficient
succession and inheritance tax planning and deals with all aspects of income
tax and capital gains tax.
