What to Expect / Access your course 

What to expect from a CPD live webinar 

CPD webinars  (Live) are informative online events where one of our expert speakers, or panel of speakers, delivers a presentation live online at a scheduled time.

Course Material - You will receive any relevant course material 24 hours before the course begins.

Access - You will receive an email with the joining instruction and any relevant course material 24 hours before the course begins.

You will also receive a recorded version once the course is finished that you can watch at a time that suits you; the link to access this recording will be emailed to you within 48 hours.

What to expect from a Virtual Classroom 

 A Virtual Classroom is a live and interactive online learning environment where presenters and course attendees engage with course materials, interact, and work in groups together through two-way video, virtual break-out sessions, polls, screen-sharing, and interactive Q&A.  

Course Material - We no longer provide hard copy material for in person CPD events unless it is necessary for activities in class or requested by the speaker. Instead, the material will be emailed to you either in advance or after concluding a live session

Access - You will receive an email with the joining instructions and any relevant course material 24 hours before the course begins.

Virtual Classroom sessions will not be recorded

What  to expect from a Face to Face course 

Face to Face courses – Your booking confirmation will include venue details of where your course will be held. Please attend at the date and time – Face to face courses are not recorded, so attendance is required to claim your CPD hours.

What are my CPD requirements?

Members of Chartered Accountants Ireland are required under the Code of Ethics for Members to maintain their professional competence. Further information about CPD requirements are available here.

 

 

How do I access my on demand CPD course?

On demand, CPD courses are pre-recorded versions of live webinars and can be accessed through your "My Account" area of the Chartered Accountant Ireland Website

Log in to the Chartered Accountants Ireland website and go to the 'MyAccount' area. Your course link and any relevant course material can be found in the "My courses & downloads' tab. We would recommend you check if you have enabled the use of pop-ups in your current browser before opening your course link.
