Analytical thinking - What are the landmarks?

  • You are sought out by others for advice and solutions on how to best to interpret and use information
  • You are skilled in the use of financial modelling including speadsheets and quantitative methods for reporting and decision making
  • Monitor, evaluate and renew business models to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Review complex and/or sensitive reporting and analysis and identify the potential impact on the organisation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial and non-financial performance evaluation methods
  • Fully appreciate the major financial risks relevant to the organisation
  • Ability to define and articulate KPIs and critical success factors that assess the effectiveness of the organisations strategy
  • Fully appreciate the links between financial management, organisational structure and its strategy

Stakeholder engagement - What are the landmarks?

  • Prepare and present reports used to feed into management decisions and strategic decisions
