What is career coaching?
Coaching is based on the premise that you are creative, resourceful and have the solutions and answers to your questions. Coaches respect you as the expert in your own life and work. Based on this, the coach’s responsibility is to:
- Discover, clarify, and align with what you want to achieve
- Support self-discovery
- Elicit solutions and strategies
- Hold you responsible and accountable
The coaching process helps to significantly improve your outlook on work and life, while improving leadership skills and your unlocking potential.
Coaching is carried out in what’s called a ‘safe environment’ you are challenged to think outside of your comfort zone, to consider all options, with the focus being on what you value and hold as a priority in your life at that specific time.
