Agile thinking/strategic appreciation - What are the landmarks?

  • Generates and owns a strategic plan and vision that integrates numerous business issues, functions and resources for effective outcomes
  • Defines and builds a corporate culture that is congruent with and facilitates the implementation of strategy
  • Understands and advises the management team in relation to business fundamentals and the position of the organisation in the wider global market and uses knowledge of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; identifies competitive differentiators to devise the strategy for the organisation
  • Displays high levels of analytical intelligence . Examines, evaluates and analyses the bigger picture while setting setting priorities and devising the way forward. Ability to see solutions where others do not
  • Uses scanning and visionary capabilities to successfully predict market trends and align organisation strategy to capitalise on market potential
  • Ability to think critically, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemes;shows sounds judgement and forms opinions
